we are so glad to see that someone finally got it.   It was Nate’s idea to do the “bun in the oven” picture.  I thought it was a great idea but I was a little to anxious waiting for someone to finally catch on.    We are only about 5 weeks along.  My first doctors appointment is Monday the 9th of February.  Those online baby sites predicted my due date at Oct. 14th so if those things are somewhat reliable we should have the baby and then be able to still enjoy the holidays with one more little critter.  We are very excited and hope that all goes well.  Simon and Nate have been discussing names and so far every day Simon has changed from wanting a sister to a “broder” so we’ll see!!

One nice thing about being off around the holidays is that we are able to do some of the things around the house that we have been meaning to do. We have had the paint for this room for months and this is the first time we have had to paint it. (of course we have been working on our kitchen some also. It is still in disarray)

We were telling some of you about the hardwood ceilings that we had in our house and how we were going to white wash them. We are especially proud of how they turned out.

sorry we didn’t get a chance to mail it. It seems that everything leading up to Christmas got so hectic that we didn’t even get a chance get the pictures printed. Maybe you will get a new years card, but I wouldn’t expect it until Presidents day or so.
